INVENTION (Illustration Friday)

Mardy Greale beholds...

"Here's a very old invention
(Usually known as the bend)
Creating an odd dimension
With no beginning or end.

The bend is all around
And in your cup of tea
It knows how to surround
And make infinity.

(It's)
Curving clocks into a cycle
Bending ground into a curve
Sending me a silent circle
Curling sideways on a swerve.

What a fine invention
It is to behold
With mystic intention
That is very old."

Colour pencil drawing and Photoshop filters.

The mother of all inventions I'd say, without the "bend' we all fly into space and the universe would be one huge calamity. Fantastic poem and even more a fantastic piece, the bendmaker and the bend are very strange and beautiful invention!

Can a bend be bent? Who knows. For some reason this guy reminds me of Iggy Pop, he went on a few benders.

emils yusof... I'm glad you liked going around the bend!

detlef... if it wants to be, maybe. Do you look like Iggy Pop? I thought this might look like someone who floats by here sometimes.
