SPRING (Illustration Friday)
This picture may corroborate That spring can invigorate Buds appear Without fear Because they want to celebrate!
i have heard of these rare flowers that stick there tongues out, I was reluctant to believe but I should have known that you have seen them! Love this!!!
Your little flower buds look like they are ready to hit the big city baby, they are happy, happy, buds! The big bud with the big red tongue is my fav, that is ome, wild and crazy flower and real cool work
Yup nice perspective, nice idea, nice drawing. You are a nice artist and your nice drawing is very happy on my fridge... Will show you. Missing time! buzzzzy buzzzzy!
Looks like a bud's eye-view of Spring... Yeah, as Carla says above... there's some sort of vernal vortex happening here. Couldn'a said it better. Those li'l buds look like they're a bit apprehensive about the whole life cycle thing, too.
Oh, and how did I miss 'Small Faces' in the 60s? Did they skip out on the boat for the British invasion? How could Herman's Hermits have made it to the U.S. shores and not these guys? Or did they make it, and I just fell asleep... or maybe I was abducted... and this Professor Unwin fellow... sails over my head, I'm afraid... I actually took him seriously, or at least I did until the bicycle throught the paint bit.
Carla... Vernal Vortex, that's neat! Spring is dizzy I agree.
PearlingMinter... That's very nice of you to say so too. Hehe, glad to hear pic is on fridge!
Twisselman... Bud's Eye View, I like that as well! The Small Faces did'nt go over with the Brit wave as far as I know. A lot of their stuff is quirky English, but they varied quite a lot during their time. Stanley Unwin is even more quirky, but you have given me a laugh thinking it was 'real'!
