Angels And Devils (Illustration Friday)
Angels and Devils are often in bovver Because they seldom agree with each other So turn the tide Don't run and hide Just take some lessons and learn to hover.
I love the way you've done these figures... very intersting and effective - are you going to come and play at the Camel Exchange? It would be fun to play with your pictures! And see what you did to others too...
Really fascinating piece, I love the figures, enlarged this even more compelling, beautiful color and design lends mystery to this piece. Beautiful! I like the cool limerick for this piece.
Caroline.. cheers, and thanks for invite to the Camel Exchange. Think I will but it's a question of fitting things in at moment, so not saying definitely but yes I'd like to. I'll catch you up on that!
String.. thank yoooou.
Hardwax.. I doddered through this after a bit of a weekend, think I got away with something.
MerlinPimple-Nell.. thanks, it kind of grew as it went along this one.
This looks very cool when enlarged! I can see the effects you used and it's as if things are underwater or bubbling away. These colors look a bit different from those you usually use...the red black and yellow create a strong, kind of op art background, and the figures are wild! There's such zaniness to your illustrations, and they're always a visual treat!
Carla.. thanks. Was a bit woolly around the edges when did this one. Have changed it a bit since original post and made figures more distinct on the right. Must fly!

This is very cool, Modroom. I like the inclusion of the yin yang... But then the piece has a balance even without that reference. Wonderful.
brock.. thanks for a wonderful comment!!
Twisselman.. I missed you before. Now I must balance it out. Thanks.
