INSECT (Illustration Friday)

Rather quick off the block
SpiderFlies really rock
For SpiderFlies
Have curious eyes
Causing quite a shock.

Tiny little insect I must summon
I can't tell if you're a man or a woman.

This is hugely eye catching! Do you do an illustration every day? There's a whole bunch a colorful, quirky, captivating work since last week. You're one prolific homosapien:> How do you create these fabulous images - are they digital?

Hi Carla.. probably averaging 3 a week I think. Have the luxury of time at the moment which is a big help. Most images start not in my head but endlessly changing what's on the paper, then an idea might come in from somewhere. Can be quite random. These are colour pencil drawings which I rearrange in photoshop mostly with filters. Glad you like these things! ..::o

I feel as if I'm under the microscope with this one. Imagine being peered at like this. In your response to Carla you said you used P/shop filters, impressive results.

A pretty shock though, this thing reminds me of stained glas, marvelous colors and an alive feel to it.

Hey- love your art- words as well!
I'm on the right in the shell.
It's J. Lennon on the left -
I just weren't deft.

Does it bug you when people comment this way?

Anyway, your work is awsome- really creative and original- fun to look at and read.

MerlinPrinter.... Earl Grey! I'm having Marks & Spencer Gold for a change this morning.. salut! (?) and Hellcat too. Liked your photo of the frozen building on fire on your blog.

Isay.. COMMIN' TO GET YOU! (The spiderfly, not me). Thanks.

Detlef.. it's just curious about your songs mate! I've discovered photoshop and I'm not coming out..

Hardwax.. glad you like the vibe, I am hooked on unsubtle colours at the moment, like the stained glass reference.

AndyDoodler/ Anonymous/ LobsterGooGaJoob.. I too can have my 'days' fighting the comment publishing thing! Glad you like the contents herein and hope you were'nt too bugged getting your comment published.
