On The Way To York
I am Daley Prancing
Occasionally dancing.
My legs begin to walk the walk
But this is not the way to York
New parameters
Odd diameters
I travel like a broken fork.
One foot likes to stay below
The other has an extra flow
Upside round
Wrong way down
Need to know which way to go.
I'm not walking through the air
I wander places that compare
Night and day
As they say
With flowers growing from up there.

SIMPLE Illustration Friday
Behold this grid that's in my eye
A simple truth is all I spy
For events below
Above are ditto
A correspondence in the sky.
All things are in their place I see
My hand is where it ought to be
Reflected so high
Yet I wonder why
A bird appears to look at me.
All things happen right on chime
Every space a simple rhyme
Now I flow
Here we go
Oh my word is that the time!
On this occasion he was late
He's Arkan Barkum-Ten-Past-Eight.

The Cat-Flap People
They are known as the felines
With a touch of the devines
Somewhat mystical
Slightly twistical
Cats can read between the lines.
"Behold! We are so graceful
Silky cool and very tasteful."
Often wise
I see their eyes
And nearly get a faceful.
Adventures cat's persue
I don't know what they do
A little cheeky
Sometimes freaky
They like a cat nap too.

Bongos
Bang your bongos in the night
It will make you feel all right
Catch the beat
Feel the heat
"We bang bongos with delight."
With rhythms that go hazy
They are never lazy
Beryl Bam is long
Billy Bong is gone
"Together we are crazy."
They beat to the moon
The tune of the loon
They beat to the heart
And cannot part
A beatific thing
"It makes us PING!"

Chair Illustration Friday
A chair has a fantastical ring
For Albert Rife and little Pring
They roam the land
With eager hand
Touching legs and everything.
Their purpose is an ancient one
A secret form of tradition
"It is our quest
To find the best
A glowing chair to sit upon."
This one seems to touch the sky
They begin to wonder why
Feel the wood
It's jolly good
And sitting down is rather high.
